The institute’s director came up with the idea, which consists of a series of recitals by student groups in venues such as hospitals, schools, homes for the elderly and libraries. The initiative has both a social and educational facet: academy students gain experience by playing in public and, through this, also gain insight into the transformative power of music in varying realities, outside of the concert hall. Another goal is to raise more awareness about the work the conservatory has been developing.
