The program continues the already traditional series of symphonic concerts – UFRGS, São Pedro Theater, Interior, Churches, Araújo Vianna and Didactics, as well as the Ospa Youth series and Music in the Museum, launched in 2016 -, coupled with other innovative presentations. Featuring maestros and soloists from around the globe, as well as emerging and established musicians from both the regional and national music scene, there is no lack of attractions on Ospa stages this year.
Highlights include the staging of Mozart’s “Don Giovanni” at São Pedro Theater, the renewal of the traditional Botanical Garden Spring Concert and the Cinema Music concert at Araújo Vianna. Continuing the mission to perform in as many municipalities in the state as possible, the Interior Series, sponsored by Corsan, takes the orchestra to a number of venues throughout Rio Grande do Sul, some of which have not hosted Ospa in decades.
